Overcoming Worldly Defeat

Nearly thirty years ago some questions were presented to Mary Baker Eddy by a reporter for the Boston (Massachusetts) Herald, and were answered. The reporter was Sibyl Wilbur, later the author of a well-known and valuable biography of Mrs. Eddy. Some of the questions and answers, particularly arresting today when fear and discouragement, want and woe, appear so prevalent, are the following:
