I wish to express my gratitude for the many healings I have had since I became interested in Christian Science, one of which was of a disease supposedly caused by an accident which I had in early girlhood. The doctors said I should never recover from it. Certainly I suffered for years, and then decided to take up the study of Christian Science. One day I called on a practitioner and told my troubles, and very gently she led me away from the thought of pain to God's healing power, so I went home and studied as I was told to do. After a few treatments I realized that I was entirely healed. This, my first healing, took place about ten years ago. I cannot be grateful enough to God and to the practitioner for that beautiful demonstration of God's love.

Since that time I have become a member of The Mother Church, also of a branch church. I am indeed grateful for the privilege of class instruction, which gives a greater understanding of how to help others. My daily prayer is for more love toward everyone, and to help others to find and to know our Father-Mother God; also to overcome in myself all unlike God, good.
