On page 332 of Science and Health Mrs. Eddy writes, "Christ is the true idea voicing good, the divine message from God to men speaking to the human consciousness." It was this message from God, through friends voicing good in their daily lives at a time when I most needed not physical healing but mental uplifting, that brought me into Christian Science, and I am indeed grateful. My one desire is that I may so live as to express the Christ-spirit in order that others may see what God has in store for them, and how He will meet all their needs, as they learn to reflect God-likeness.

It is with the deepest gratitude to our Father-Mother God, to our Leader, who has shown us the true way, and to the kind and patient practitioner who has helped me to understand and know this wonderful truth, that I wish to testify to the healings I have had in Christian Science.

Once I wrenched my back severely and at times was unable to walk because of it, and it seemed as though I was paralyzed. This false condition was healed in a short time. I have also been healed of a violent temper, of the tobacco habit of over thirty years' standing, and of the social drink habit. I have been helped out of business difficulties that seemed impossible to overcome. Christian Science has taught me that business is not merely the earning of a livelihood, but it is also an opportunity to give—an opportunity to serve God and help one's fellow men.
