I feel that I must express my deep gratitude through the periodicals for all the good that Christian Science has brought into my life. I began the study of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" over twenty years ago. I had borrowed a copy from a neighbor, just out of curiosity. After I had been reading it for a few weeks my little daughter said that I was much nicer when I read that book. I needed to be nicer, as my dispostion was not what it should have been. In a very short time I procured a copy for myself, and through studying it I was healed of chronic sick headaches, a very painful condition of the feet, and liver trouble. Later I was healed of a displaced organ of the body. It has never troubled me in all these years. A sulky disposition has disappeared and a happy one has taken its place.

Through the influence of the one Mind, my daughter was led to go home at an unusual time, which resulted in saving our home from fire. Christian Science has helped me many times when a sense of having to hurry has been presented to me.

I am increasingly grateful for the knowledge of God's nearness and availability and that I am learning to listen for His voice. My humble desire is to follow in the footsteps of Christ Jesus, the Way-shower, and of our dear Leader, Mary Baker Eddy.—(Mrs.) Edna Mantell, Columbus, Ohio.
