With heartfelt gratitude I wish to testify to the healing and regenerating power of Christian Science. There are six members in our family, and for the past twelve years God has been our only physician. We have been healed of every disease which has manifested itself during those years; we have been protected in times of danger, and supplied when in need, all by applying the truth as taught in Christian Science. Can we doubt that we have found the truth of which Jesus spoke when he said, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free"?

A note from the superintendent of the school which our second son, then eight years of age, was attending stated that the boy had weak eyes, diseased tonsils, and adenoids, and that he must have immediate surgical attention, as the condition was interfering with his work in school. I acknowledged the note and replied lovingly that I would give the matter immediate attention. The healing resulted. The same teacher, seeing the child a year later, remarked how wonderfully the child's appearance had improved, and how well he looked since his operation. I told her that we must give God the entire glory, as nothing material had been done. Our eldest son has been healed of hernia, appendicitis, and hay fever. These two boys were wonderfully protected some time ago while fighting forest fires. The fire was considered under control and they were sleeping in a tent when the wind came up and started a crown fire which swept over the camp, setting their tent on fire. They awakened and escaped to safety without harm. This same night I had been awakened with an anxious thought about them and had remained a long time in prayerful thought, and my prayer was answered in their protection. A case of mumps was healed in three days and the child returned to school the fourth day with a certificate from the health officer. Our youngest child was completely healed in four days of pneumonia when he was two years old.

Before coming into Science I suffered severely from sinus trouble, which the doctors told me had become chronic and could be relieved only by an operation, although even then they could not promise a permanent cure. When an attack came eight years ago, I called for help from a practitioner and got instantaneous relief, and there has never been a return of that disease. I have also been healed of internal tumors and an internal laceration which the doctors had told me must be taken care of by an operation before I could be well. The birth of our youngest child, nine years ago, was painless, and the baby was normal, although doctors had told me that I could not give birth to another child because of the tumorous condition mentioned above.
