It is with sincere gratitude that I send this testimony of healings I have received through the study of Christian Science during the past six years. I have been healed of the desire to smoke cigarettes, of the use of profanity, dishonesty, the appetite for liquor, stomach trouble, and influenza. I had three teeth filled without pain, and have been protected from a vicious dog that tried to attack me, and from an automobile accident. A disagreeable disposition and bad temper are being overcome. The moral courage and regeneration I am receiving through a better understanding of God, gained through the daily study of the Lesson-Sermons in the Christian Science Quarterly, and the assurance that God, divine Mind, heals all our diseases, are constant blessings to me.

I rejoice in the privilege of serving in a small way at the Christian Science services which are being held here weekly. My testimony would be incomplete without an expression of thanks to the many practitioners who have helped me on the road from error to Truth. My prayer is that I may be truly worthy of the name "Christian Scientist," by expressing more kindness and patience to my brother men. I can never repay that unselfish and self-sacrificing New England lady, Mary Baker Eddy, for giving us this wonderful truth.—William V. Brown, National Military Home, California.
