Your issue of September 8 contains a report of a sermon in which the clergyman is reported to have said, "What has ... Christian Science to offer more than the church?"

Christian Science offers a spiritual interpretation of the Bible which enables its students to understand the divine Principle and rules by which the prophets, Christ Jesus, his disciples, and the early Christians healed the sick, reformed the sinner, and raised the dead, as well as doing other wonderful works. It reveals the fact that the Bible contains both a spirtual and a material account of creation, the first being true and the second false. It thus clears up the seeming contradictions in the Bible, and reveals a demonstrable spirtual Science as practiced by our Master.

Christian Science unfolds the method by which one can gain "the mind of Christ," and think as Jesus thought on all occasions and under all circumstances.
