Filled with deep gratitude I should like to realte a healing which I experienced through Christian Science. I was suffering from a swelling in my mouth, and as I am employed by others, I had to comply with existing regulations and consult a doctor. He told me that he did not know the eause of the condition, and that it would be better to go to a surgeon. The latter told me that the swellign was tubercular and unfortunately could not be cut away. It was cauterized three times a week, and then treatment by light rays was given, but without success; on the contrary, I grew worse instead of better. Then I turned to a Christian Science practitioner with a request for help. I myself had no fear and clung to God, our only helper in any difficulty. The practitioner worked for me very lovingly, and after time proof was given that man-made laws are of no weight whatever—that God's laws alone man. The swelling disappeared very quickly, and the last five years have given me proof of the permanency of the healing.

I am deeply grateful for what God has done for me, and it is with a grateful heart that I think of the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
