Man

Never fallen, always free,
Garmented in majesty,
Ray and image found in one
Perfect Father's perfect son;
Gentle, strong, and satisfied,
Happy, active, occupied—
Face to face with God's perfection
Man is wholly His reflection.

Needing neither scrip nor purse
He includes the universe—
Singing star and singing bird
Both by him as plainly heard,
Each as surely part of his
Consciousness and being is—
He possesses in full measure
All of Love's exhaustless treasure.

Walking upright in the truth,
He preserves eternal youth;
Instant is he to fulfill
His creator's righteous will.
Death cannot appear to him
Who has known no birth to dim
Visionings of heaven here,
Now made manifest and clear.

As we know our Father-Mother
We shall learn to see our brother
Bathed in beauty and in light,
The beloved of His sight;
Bowed by neither curse nor rod,
Unafraid and one with God;
Rich and sinless and elate,
Heir to a sublime estate.
