With what reverence we approach the period of silent prayer in our church services! Is not prayer the recognition and affirmation of man's unity with God, the source from which man draws his sustenance, yea, his being? A clear recognition of the Father in secret, in whom dwelleth all substance, is the answer to righteous desire.
