With a heart full of gratitude I testify to the healing and sustaining power of divine Love, as taught in Christian Science.

In 1926 I became very ill with hemorrhage of the lungs, whereupon a specialist diagnosed pulmonary tuberculosis and ordered my removal to a local sanatorium, and later to another sanatorium in the Isle of Wight. I wish to pay tribute to the kindness and attention I received from the doctors and nurses.

After months of treatment, although feeling rested, I was told I should have to live the life of an invalid and spend each winter in the South. During all this time a very distressing cough and weakness persisted. I was very miserable and felt useless, with no hope for the future. After struggling on in this state for three years, Christian Science was recommended to me. I attended the services and studied Science and Health. In a short time I knew that I had found the truth that is Life. With the help of a practitioner I regained health and strength, and lost the dreadful fear of incurability. I am now completely healed and able to attend to all my household duties. For this healing, and for many other blessings, I am sincerely grateful.—(Mrs.) Emily C.
