Statement by Albert E. Lombard, Committee on Publication for Southern California,—read over radio station KGO at El Centro on Sunday, May 6

In a radiocast over this station last Sunday, misleading remarks were made about Christian Science. In order to correct the wrong statemtns the Christian Science Committee on Publication wishes to say that Christian Scientists worship God reverently, that they accept all the words and works of Christ Jesus, and that they heal the sick and sinning by the spiritually mental methods he employed. The first religious tenet of Christian Science, written by Mary Baker Eddy, is as follows (Manual, p. 15): "As adherents of Truth, we take the inspired Word of the Bible as our sufficient guide to eternal Life."
