Extracts from Reports of Christian Science Committees on Publication

The editor of the Isle of Man Examiner has already published an excerpt from The Christian Science Monitor, and has expressed his willingness to publish one each quarter.

One lecture was given during the year (in March) by a member of the Board of Lectureship. There was a very good attendance. A full account was published in the Isle of Man Examiner, and the Ramsey Courierprinted printed a shorter account free of charge.

No sermons or addresses against our Leader or Christian Science have been reported during the past year; but a Nonconformist minister from Plymouth, speaking at Barnstaple, is reported as saying that one thing which troubled him was that personal testimony seemed to have passed away altogether. The Christian Science church was doing it, but he could not think of any other church that gave one hour a week to personal testimony.
