Two plays were staged, in Mannheim and in Berlin, which were pointedly directed against our Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, and her great work. Both plays were soon taken off. The publicity in the press, which was the result of these plays and which called for many corrections, did much to make Christian Science better known among a greater number of people. Thus the Bible text has again been proved true, "Surely the wrath of man shall praise thee: the remainder of wrath shalt thou restrain."

A public library in Berlin at its own request received two copies of our textbook; and the library of a penitentiary received one.
