I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science

I wish to express my gratitude for Christian Science. It has been my stay and help many times. A number of years ago my husband, who is not a student of Christian Science, experienced an instantaneous healing of acute indigestion while away from home at work as a railroad engineer. The condition was such that he was forced to be excused from running his engine and was taken to a small town to await the arrival of a passenger train which would bring him home. While waiting he saw a Christian Science Sentinel in the literature distribution box in the railway station. He read it from cover to cover, and when he had finished reading he realized that he had been healed, thus proving Mrs. Eddy's statement (Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, p. 494), "Divine Love always has met and always will meet every human need." We are all extremely grateful for this healing, as well as many others, such as the healing of colds and headaches, and for protection from so-called contagious diseases. Many times accidents have been averted through the loving application of Christian Science. I have experienced painless childbirth on two occasions.

I am grateful for every activity of this great movement; for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church; for all the periodicals; and for class instruction. — (Mrs.) Merle M. Hockenbeamer, Logansport, Indiana.
