Framingham, Massachusetts (First Church). — First Church of Christ, Scientist, has now held the opening service in its recently acquired and remodeled church property at 81 Lincoln Street, adjoining the Lincoln school. Members and friends filled the attractive auditorium and were enthusiastic in their appreciation of the artistic and pleasing interior. The entire building has been completely remodeled for church purposes, the lower floor being occupied by the auditorium and the upper by the Sunday school. Beyond the entrance hall, a foyer and cloak room open through glazed double doors to the auditorium. This hall, of excellent acoustic properties, is attractively lighted and decorated. Further improvements on the building and grounds are planned in the near future. The location and extent of the property are such as to permit the future expansion which may confidently be expected. — Evening News.
