Words can never express the gratitude I feel for Christian Science
Words can never express the gratitude I feel for Christian Science. It is only by living up to its teachings to the best of my understanding that I can prove what it really means to me. I heard of Christian Science for the first time about twenty-six years ago, and since then it has met my every need. I have not taken a drop of medicine in all this time. Through the loving help of a practitioner and my own study I have been healed of coughs, colds, influenza, typhoid fever, a dropsical condition, and many other ills. The attack of influenza came on one evening. After reading and declaring the truth practically all night I was entirely free in the morning. The attack of typhoid fever was overcome in eleven days' time, without any bad after effects.
I have witnessed a beautiful healing of a severe skin disease. We asked for help in Christian Science, but for a week the condition seemed to grow worse, instead of better. A neighbor expressed the thought that the trouble was ringworm, and when that thought was taken up and corrected, there was a decided improvement by the next morning. In about two weeks the child was free. She was very grateful for this experience.
My parents were healed many times, and Christian Science was certainly a comforter at the passing on of my father.
