The Lectures
Tulsa, Oklahoma (First Church).
Lecturer: Peter V. Ross; introduced by Morris W. Turner, who said:—
In the thirty-fifth chapter of Isaiah we read: "Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped." By affording a practical and demonstrable understanding of the Bible, Christian Science is opening the eyes of the blind and unstopping the ears of the deaf, in the unfolding of harmonious relationships, in the solving of business problems, and the question of supply, as well as the healing and prevention of diseases. As an added proof of its healing power in my own experience, it is only recently that I have been enabled, solely through reliance on its teachings, to pass through the seasons of an entire year without experiencing severe attacks of coughs, colds, and grippe, for the first time in over fifteen years.
