It is with a deep sense of joy and gratitude that I testify to what Christian Science has done for me. This beautiful healing truth came into my experience when I was a young child, and the privilege of Sunday school instruction was enjoyed for many years. Due to the clear teaching received in the Sunday school from several teachers, Christian Science has been more of a preventive than a curative power in my experience. However, I have been healed of colds, an itching rash, pimples, and a sprained ankle; warts have disappeared from my hands through the realization that whatever is not good has no place in the experience of God's child.
For the guidance of a loving, consecrated practitioner, whose clear understanding of God, good, has been a great help to me, I am grateful. I shall try to prove by my deeds what the example of Christ Jesus, the writings of Mary Baker Eddy, and the Christian Science periodicals mean to me. Membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church has brought many blessings. The privilege of serving in a branch church brings added joy. I am sincerely grateful.—(Miss) Myrtle E. Christoph, Wheaton, Illinois.
I am glad to confirm the above testimony of my daughter. I wish also to express deep gratitude for Christian Science. I myself have been healed of erysipelas, influenza, earache, neuralgia, and other disorders. While I am grateful for these healings, I feel still more grateful for the peace of mind that follows our study of Christian Science. I also want to express gratitude for the practitioners who are always ready to help, and for membership in The Mother Church and in a branch church. The privilege of serving in a branch church has brought big blessings and a better and higher understanding of Christian Science.—(Mrs.) Gussie Christoph.
