Sunday School Opportunities

When one is found worthy to be appointed a teacher in a Christian Science Sunday School, he finds himself on the threshold of a glorious opportunity, one in which are to be found innumerable blessings for both teacher and pupil.

To the alert student of Christian Science, right mental preparation is of first importance. The Sunday school is not merely a place where children are arranged in classes to be taught by older persons. Rather is it an assembling together of those who desire an interchange of statements of Truth and denials of error, to fortify and strengthen the unfolding thought. "For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them," said Christ Jesus, showing clearly that Christ, Truth, is the one teacher.

Spiritual man is God's perfect child; and his state of perfection cannot be improved upon. There is great need, however, for making plain to the pupils what mortal belief in evil tries to do, and how it claims to operate.
