The Lectures
Introductions to Lectures
Kansas City, Missouri (Second Church).
Lecturer: Miss Margaret Murney Glenn; introduced by Edgar M. Mattes, who said:—
When my attention was called to Christian Science I was suffering with inflamed and very weak eyes. I could read but little without fatigue, followed with severe pain in the head. Having had treatment by skilled physicians and taken much medicine and other material remedies, besides wearing colored and special glasses, without results, I turned readily to Christian Science and was quickly healed of this trouble. Complete relief was gained in about one week's time.
Diseases and discordant conditions in many other forms have been overcome permanently by the study and application of the simple and wholesome rules of Christian Science. I consider it my greatest privilege to have had the opportunity to take up this study, not alone for the physical healings, but for the spiritual understanding and peace of mind that I have gained.
