It is with a great sense of joy and gratitude that I bear witness to the regenerating power of Christian Science. It has transformed my life from one of boredom and self-seeking to one of eager search for the truth of being and to a striving to have that Mind "which was also in Christ Jesus." My life is now one of continuous happy service in the activities of our church. One of the greatest joys derived from Christian Science is the power to express love. Another is the glorious realization of a beneficent power always present, guiding, guarding, leading us in the path of Life and Truth.

Among the first physical demonstrations I had of the power of Truth was the replacing of a dislocated bone in the foot. As this bone protruded between two toes, I had worn a small piece of cotton over it. Since it troubled me to use any material means, however, I declared one morning that God's idea is perfect and that I would stand with divine Principle solely. In a few days I noticed that the bone had gone back into place.

A great sensitiveness to colds and sore throat has been overcome. Influenza has many times been proved a phase of nothingness. In five weeks I was healed of a lupus sore, such as my father had had for thirty years.
