I am writing this testimony in gratitude to Christian Science for a healing I had about six years ago. When I was going upstairs one morning with two jugs of boiling water, somehow my foot slipped, causing the water to go all over one side of my face. I had been interested in Christian Science for about two years. There was a Scientist in the house at the time, but the other people were not interested and wished me to have a doctor; but I refused, as I knew Christian Science would heal me. The Scientist kindly began to work for me, with the result that in a very short time the fear vanished, and I did not experience any pain from the time the treatment began. The accident occurred on a Friday, and on the following Wednesday not a mark could be seen. I am very grateful indeed for this healing, grateful also to the one who helped me; but I am more grateful still to know God aright, to know that He does not send us trouble and sickness. I am also very grateful for the better understanding of the Bible one has through Christian Science, and for the joy and peace it brings in daily life. Christian Science has healed me of deafness in one ear, supposed to be hereditary, and of indigestion and many other ills.—(Miss) Rhoda S. Green, Stanway, Colchester, Essex, England.
