Many years ago I testified of healings I had received through reading "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy and the Christian Science Sentinel, at a time when I knew no Christian Scientists. There are three healings for which I should like now to express my gratitude to God. One is of a very bad condition of my thumb due, I was told, to a felon. Throughout this experience I had the help of a loving practitioner. I was also healed of itch. While this lasted it was a very trying experience. I was also healed, almost instantaneously, of bee stings. I was putting a frame on a box of bees, but it slipped and the angry bees came out all over the hive. I was stung all over the body. My mother was with me, and a great sense of fear came over her and over me. When I got my clothing changed I sent to a Christian Science practitioner for help, as I felt very faint; and I had relief as soon as the message reached her. She knew nothing of what had occurred until she came to my bedside, and I was able by noon to go and thank the neighbor for calling the practitioner for me.

I am thankful that Christian Science has taught me that God always hears us when we earnestly seek Him. This is only a very small part of what Christian Science has done for me.—(Mrs.) Martha M. Arthur, Toledo, Oregon.
