While to many Christian Science makes its appeal because of its ministrations of physical healing, to others it holds the promise of the unfolding perception of Spirit and things spiritual, which was the inspiration of the prophets, the basis of the unprecedented works of Christ Jesus in healing disease, sorrow, sin, and overcoming death, and which enabled Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science, to perceive the divine Principle and rules by which the same works or demonstrations can be repeated to-day.
