A contributor in your issue of February 23 makes the erroneous statement that salvation from sin cannot be accomplished "by denying the reality of sin as Christian Science does." In taking that position he departs from the most successful method of overcoming sin, the method of the Wayshower who designated Satan as a liar and father of lies.

Christian Science has completely vanuished sinful habits in numerous instances after all other means have failed. It does this, however, not by merely denying its reality but by knowing its unreality. Such knowledge has a scientific basis. God created all that is real but He created no sin. Hence sin has no more reality than unenlightened human belief gives it. On this very basis rests Christ Jesus' statement, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free."
