"Angelic messengers"

In the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," under the marginal heading "Our angelic messengers," Mary Baker Eddy writes.

Healing Words

In the reign of King Hezekiah, when Sennacherib, king of Assyria, was planning an attack upon Jerusalem, Hezekiah assembled his people and discussed the situation with them, reminding them that spiritual power is always superior to a material claim of power.

Expectancy

In studying the eighth and ninth chapters of Matthew, one is impressed with the quality of thought expressed by those who came to Jesus for healing, namely, evident expectancy, the result of some measure of faith in God's goodness, which they glimpsed through the transparency of Jesus' purity.

Deliverance

On the quotation page at the beginning of the textbook of Christian Science, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, is the well-known saying of our Master, "Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.
A Little butterfly was hovering over some geraniums in a garden.

"The fruit of the Spirit"

Beneath the shade of a spreading garden tree lived a fragile plant.

On the Forsaking of Evil

How to be rid of evil in its manifold phases is a problem to which mankind has given age-long attention; for belief in evil as a reality is the foundation of all the woes which seem so greatly to harass mortals.

Testimonies of healings brought about at authorized lectures on Christian Science will be published in The Christian Science Journal or the Christian Science Sentinel, when verified as are other testimonies appearing in the periodicals.
It is with great joy and gratitude that I take this opportunity of testifying to the many benefits I have received through the study of Christian Science.
I am indeed very grateful for Christian Science healing.
It was my misfortune to become a victim to many diseases which made me practically an invalid for many years.
So many wonderful and beautiful proofs of healing through Christian Science have come to my home and into my life since my first healing, twenty-three years ago, that I sometimes stand in awe before them all.
Christian Science found me seeking material gain, and very indifferent toward religion.
I wish to express my deep gratitude for the many blessings that have come to me as the result of the study of Christian Science.
Christian Science is not a faith cure, in the commonly accepted sense of the term, as some people think it is.
Christian Science has given me an understanding of the Bible, and I am learning how I may praise the Lord in thought and deed.
I was ill and under medical care for six years.
It is with deep gratitude I write this testimony of the healing power of divine Love.
I wish to express through the periodicals my gratitude for Christian Science.
