Words cannot express the deep gratitude I feel for Christian Science, and to each dear one who has helped me along the way. When the youngest member of our family was six years old, she was suddenly stricken with a severe illness. Work was taken up for her in Christian Science immediately and the first symptoms disappeared; but the practitioner was obliged to leave the city, after which the child gradually lost the use of her limbs, and her eyes became crossed, and her vision greatly impaired. Her father, who was not interested in Christian Science, insisted upon calling in a child specialist, and she was under his care for six days, during which time she failed so rapidly that both the physician and the family became greatly alarmed. At this point the father was persuaded to reach out to God with the rest of the family and place the child once more under Christian Science treatment, with the result that in one week's time there was marked improvement. The little girl herself never wavered throughout the entire experience, and made a little demonstration each day until at the end of three months her healing was complete.

In my own experience through many years the blessed truth of Christian Science has met every problem that has come to me, both physical and mental; and as I look back I can see that each one had been an added opportunity to gain a joyous victory, and has led me one step higher into the realm of Mind.
