The Prayer of Faith

GERTRUDE I. STEEL

Thou hearest me always—this the prayer of faith,
Once glimpsed, used, understood by mortal man,
Doth raise him up until in thought he sees
But God's creation, knows reality,
And lives and moves reflecting Life and Love.
