In
the forty-sixth psalm occur the words, "Be still, and know that I am God;" and they are followed by the assertion, "I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.
We
are told in Mark's Gospel that after he had heard the voice of God calling him His beloved Son, Jesus went into the wilderness, and that he was there "forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts.
The
history of the human race shows that it has always been in need of instruction; and throughout the ages inspired leaders and teachers have arisen who have given the particular age in which they have appeared just such leadership and teaching as it was able to receive and understand.
Among
the memories of our earliest Bible lessons, many of us cherish most those dealing with the childhood of Jesus and with his loving regard for the little ones during his ministry on earth.
Thou
hearest me always—this the prayer of faith,Once glimpsed, used, understood by mortal man,Doth raise him up until in thought he seesBut God's creation, knows reality,And lives and moves reflecting Life and Love.
J. Latimer Davis, Committee on Publication for the State of Iowa,
It was with appreciative recognition of his charitable attitude toward others that I read a doctor's article in "Your Health" column printed in a recent issue of the Telegraph-Herald.
Serenely
firm, thy task attend;Citadel be!Let pettiness its rancor spend; To higher thought do thou ascend,Thus constantly;By calm repose, not stress, not plight,Let others seeHow rest in Mind, not human might,Thy upward reach into the lightDoth profit thee.
A translation of "Rudimental Divine Science" and "No and Yes" into the Dutch language will be published on September 8, 1928, in one volume with alternate pages of English and Dutch, in both library and pocket editions, uniform in size with the library and pocket editions of other writings by Mary Baker Eddy.

I am and have every reason to be full of gratitude to our Father-Mother God, "who healeth all thy diseases," for I have had many proofs of the healing power of Truth when understood in the light of the teaching of Christian Science.
I am writing this testimony with a feeling of intense gratitude for all that Christian Science has done and is increasingly doing for me, not only by healing all manner of false beliefs, expressed in many diseases, but also by proving that in practical everyday life one can be governed and shown how and when to carry on, if only one strives to obey the laws of this God-given truth.
I did not come to Christian Science for healing, as I knew nothing of its healing power; but I was seeking a God whom I could understand, a God who did not send pestilence and woe to man.
It is with a heart full of gratitude that I desire to add my testimony to the great cloud of witnesses to the healing power of Christian Science as set forth by Mary Baker Eddy in her textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," and in her other writings.
It is my very great privilege and joy to bear witness to the demonstrable fact that an understanding of God, gained through the daily study of the inspired Word of God, the Bible, and the "key" to its spiritual interpretation, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, will heal inharmony, whether it be physical or mental, since the physical is only the manifestation of the mental.
When I took up the wonderful teaching of Christian Science in 1919 I had not known what good health was for about ten years, and from July, 1915, until March, 1919, I was continuously under medical treatment.
