Words can never express my gratitude to Christian Science for the marvelous healing that came to me in loving ministration thirteen years ago. I had been suffering from chronic stomach trouble and nervous prostration, and had been under the care of physicians for eight years. Three of the physicians had said that nothing more could be done for me, and that I could not live; so I turned to Christian Science as a last hope for recovery, and was soon made whole. I have an only son, twelve years old, who was born in Science. He has never tasted drugs, and is a healthy, intelligent child.

I have had numerous healings, and am grateful for every one of them. I am grateful for membership in The Mother Church, and also in a branch church. I am grateful that all our children, three in number, have been reared in the Christian Science Sunday School. I am also grateful for the privilege of teaching in the Sunday school, where my knowledge of God has been increased. For this I am truly thankful. I am grateful to God; to Christ Jesus, the Way-shower; to our revered Leader, Mary Baker Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science; and I am grateful for "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, the teaching of which we are trying to put into our daily living. I am also grateful for the patience and kindness of a loyal practitioner, who showed us how to apply the little understanding we had.
