In accordance with the ruling on page 47 of the Manual of The Mother Church by Mary Baker Eddy, in which we are reminded of Paul's injuction to "glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God's," it gives me joy to tell of my experiences of healing in Christian Science.

I was laboring under mental strain from a mixture of false beliefs which I had imbibed in my search for Truth, when in September, 1914, the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, was placed in my hands by kind friends who stated that I would therein find truth and gain peace and mental stability. Though I was then unwilling, because of false preconceived ideas, to accept all of its statements, after about a year's reading and study, I did concede that Christian Science was the truth, was healed of the mental unrest, became an earnest student of Mrs. Eddy's writings, and attended all of the public services of the Christian Science movement.

Several years later, I was healed of fallen arches. The cure was first initiated by several treatments from a loyal Christian Science practitioner, who lifted for me the sense of mental depression which accompanied this belief, and who then reminded me that this was an opportunity for growth in the understanding of Christian Science, if I would be willing to learn how to do my own work. After three months' work in Christian Science this healing was completed.
