Santa Cruz Sentinel

Santa Cruz , California (First Church).—First Church of Christ, Scientist, of this city, has now formally dedicated its church edifice. There were services both morning and evening, and many were in attendance from the neighboring Christian Science churches. The building, located on Ocean Street at Dakota Avenue, has a seating capacity of four hundred. The contract for the work was let in March, 1926, and in September of the same year the first services were held. In March, 1927, the final payment was made and the church was free from debt. Since then the interior of the Sunday school room has been changed to harmonize with the new structure.—
