With a grateful, joyous heart I wish to testify to the wonderful experiences I have had in Christian Science. More than two years ago our youngest child was taken suddenly ill with appendicitis and operated upon. All hope of his recovery was given up, as two days after the operation he was seized with inflammation of the lungs. In my extremity God sent me a kind neighbor who told me about Christian Science, of which I had never heard up to that time. I quickly decided to see a Christian Science practitioner; and lo! God enabled me to recognize, through this practitioner, that it was quite a simple matter for Him to free us from even the worst kind of evil. I went to the hospital comforted, and in spite of the material evidence, which tried to assert that the child would not live through the night, I was able to be calm, because I was conscious that divine Love was near. The child grew better rapidly, and in three weeks I was able to take him home to the family circle. Besides this, I too was quickly healed in Christian Science of a gallstone complaint of long standing. We have also had beautiful experiences in business relations.

My heart is filled with gratitude to God, to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, and to the loving practitioner who has helped me to understand the wonderful truth.
