[Written for the Sentinel]

Christian Science

Christian Science! Let us everSeek its truths to light our way;Fearing naught, and halting never,Pressing onward day by day.Praising God for such a treasure—How it thrills our hearts to knowIt is ours in rounded measureAnd in giving it we'll grow!

It has stilled the ceaseless yearningFor the peace we could not find;It has made us more discerningOf the truth that all is Mind.It has calmed the waves of sorrowWith its brave and sweet refrain,And has brought the glad to-morrowWith its sunshine after rain.
