"Desire is prayer"

When on page 1 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mrs. Eddy says that "desire is prayer," she expresses in the tersest, most succinct manner possible the same sentiment that Montgomery had uttered years before in the hymn with which we are all so familiar:

Prayer is the heart's sincere desire,
Uttered or unexpressed;
The motion of a hidden fire
That trembles in the breast.
