Pleasure is not happiness. Money is not happiness. Education and culture are not happiness. Even health is not happiness. Happiness is not to be found in anything outside of ourselves. It must spring out of the heart. It is the fruitage of right thinking, of noble living, of high and holy conduct in life. The secret of genuine joy is the peace of Christ in the heart. It is in the answer in the soul, the soul's response to the appeal of divine Love: Come unto Me, all ye that are unhappy, and I will make you glad. No matter what darkens your horizon or troubles your life, come to Me, and I will give you peace.
