Christians, Arise!

KATHRYN BALL RUSH

Dear Father-Mother God, we know that Thou art Love,
That Thou art here and everywhere—around, beneath, above.
Protect us by Thy might, as in Thy care we trust,
From nights of error's doubting fear, from wrongs of fleshly lust.

Thy way is just and pure, is perfect, clear, and true.
May we our vision clarify, to see the heavenly view.
The Scriptures plainly say that we Thy image bear,
That Thou createst us in love, and Love is everywhere.

Love knows no evil ways; its paths are firm and free.
Let us in righteousness abound, and only goodness see.
Since God created good, and He is Mind and All,
There is no place in heaven or earth for error's seeming thrall.
