With a heart full of gratitude I feel obliged to testify to the wonderful help which I have received through Christian Science. In May, 1918, I was suddenly attacked by a severe internal malady. The doctor who was called designated my condition as very serious, and prepared me for a long confinement in bed. Instead of following his directions, however, I sent word to a Christian Science practitioner with whom I was acquainted and asked her for help, which was lovingly granted me immediately. My condition improved so rapidly that the doctor found me practically well the next morning. He shook his head and disappeared. With a few more Christian Science treatments and a diligent study of its literature I was soon entirely well, and could return to business.

Besides this, I have had many proofs of the power of Truth and of divine Love in my family. I am thankful to God and to our dear Leader, Mrs. Eddy, who has led us in the way of Truth; also, to the Christian Science practitioner for all benefits received.
