A lecturer is reported to have spoken of Christian Science as a mode of thinking to conquer disease by imagining it not be present. This is not correct. Christian Scientists regard disease as a product of the so-called human or carnal mind, and as an erroneous condition which can be overcome by them in proportion to their understanding of God and the operation of His spiritual law. Christian Science has nothing in common with psychology or any system which endeavors to cure disease through the agency of the human mind. Its method, which was that of Christ Jesus, can be demonstrated only in proportion as one gains the Mind of Christ.
