The Lectures

Denver, Colo. (First Church).—The following remarks were made by Ralph G. Lindstrom prefatory to a Christian Science lecture by Frank S. Bell:—

The object of Christian Science is to clear away human misconception, misunderstanding, and ignorance so as to establish in human consciousness what have always been the true facts in regard to Being. Columbus did not change the shape of the earth. He helped to establish in human consciousness the fact that the world always had been a sphere. The healing of this one misconception went a great way to alter the entire course of the world's history.

In 1912 I came to Colorado an invalid. For two and a half years I lived in one of the largest sanitariums in this state. When I turned to Christian Science it did not change the fact of my real being. It established to some degree in my consciousness an understanding of the unchangeable spiritual perfection of man, and thus brought me into normal, healthful, and harmonious activity.
