A Consecrated
life is generally considered to be one that is set apart for a noble purpose, abstaining from worldly affairs and human pleasures.
Genuine
success follows from the application of the qualities of infinite Mind.

John's gospel we read, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The
stories of healing in the Bible have a new interest for those who are beginning, through the study of Christian Science, to understand the law underlying these cures.
Jesus'
priceless statement, "Therefore all things whatsoever ye would that men should do to you, do ye even so to them," has become known as the Golden Rule, and is now recognized as a fundamental law by conscientious Christians in their dealings with others.
That faith has a great influence upon healing is undoubtedly true.
Based solely on the Bible; honoring God to the full extent of the Scriptural designation of Him as omnipotent, omnipresent, and omniscient; admonishing rigid adherence to the Ten Commandments; accepting as a fundamental of its faith and practice the Sermon on the Mount and the necessity for all Christian to obey the commands of Christ Jesus to preach the gospel, heal the sick, and cast out devils or evil, as an essential part of Christianity, Christian Science cannot by any stretch of imagination be open to the charge of being "highly dangerous.
The verified testimonies of healing which appear in the weekly and monthly Christian Science periodicals include the healing of cancer as well as that of disorders of every other kind; and it is not an uncommon occurrence at the Wednesday evening meetings in Christian Science churches all over the world, to hear the testimonies of those who have been healed of this disease.
Bible history has shown that rites and ceremonies established in one age, as type and symbol of the real, have, at a later period, given place to higher and less material observances of the same.
"Very recently I had the great privilege of spending a brief period at the Christian Science Sanatorium, and the experience was so inspiring that I began to study more closely the meaning of the word 'gratitude.
When
the Revelator, in his spiritual exaltation, declared, "And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away," he signalized the fulfillment of the expectation voiced by the prophet Isaiah centuries before as the Word of God.
