The verified testimonies of healing which appear in the weekly and monthly Christian Science periodicals include the healing of cancer as well as that of disorders of every other kind; and it is not an uncommon occurrence at the Wednesday evening meetings in Christian Science churches all over the world, to hear the testimonies of those who have been healed of this disease. These healing are brought about by an understanding of God and of His law, spiritual law, which Christian Scientists acknowledge to be the only law, since God, Spirit, is All-in-all. On page 147 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" Mrs. Eddy writes: "Late in the nineteenth century I demonstrated the divine rules of Christian Science. They were submitted to the broadest practical test, and everywhere, when honestly applied under circumstances where demonstration was humanly possible, this Science showed that Truth had lost none of its divine and healing efficacy, even though centuries had passed away since Jesus practised these rules on the hills of Judæa and in the valleys of Galilee." Truth has indeed lost none of its healing efficacy; and even now the sick healed in Christian Science are as a cloud of witnesses to the power of spiritual law over every other so-called law. The word "incurable" was never used by the great master Metaphysician, Jesus the Christ; and it does not belong to the vocabulary of the Christian Scientist, who holds joyously and confidently to the fact that all things are possible to God.
