When
Christian Science comes into one's life and its wonderful healing is experienced, the human heart is apt to remember the mount of transfiguration, where holy ones were seen and conversed with, and garments shone "exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
The
majority of thinking people now accept the fact that the understanding of Christian Science does heal the sick; but many of them do not yet admit that a knowledge of Christian Science enables mankind to prove that God, divine Love, does protect and care for every one of His children, and does "deliver us from evil.
It
is reasonable to assume that most of those who have turned to the Bible and the teachings of Christian Science for spiritual enlightenment or for healing, have accepted with joy the fundamental facts concerning the substance and origin of man.
Many
who come to Christian Science seeking physical healing, regeneration, or the alleviation of sorrow, do not realize that something more than mere hope and desire is required on the part of the seeker.

The term "Truth" evidently refers to the Principle of mental healing; and if we turn to the Bible and read the gospel records of the healing work accomplished by Christ Jesus,—the most successful practitioner of spiritual healing the world has ever known,—we shall find that he employed neither hypnotism nor autosuggestion in overcoming disease.
