When
Christian Science comes into one's life and its wonderful healing is experienced, the human heart is apt to remember the mount of transfiguration, where holy ones were seen and conversed with, and garments shone "exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.
The
majority of thinking people now accept the fact that the understanding of Christian Science does heal the sick; but many of them do not yet admit that a knowledge of Christian Science enables mankind to prove that God, divine Love, does protect and care for every one of His children, and does "deliver us from evil.
Not
long ago a Christian Scientist, at the close of a very dark day, sought refuge in a Wednesday evening testimony meeting.
It
is reasonable to assume that most of those who have turned to the Bible and the teachings of Christian Science for spiritual enlightenment or for healing, have accepted with joy the fundamental facts concerning the substance and origin of man.
Many
who come to Christian Science seeking physical healing, regeneration, or the alleviation of sorrow, do not realize that something more than mere hope and desire is required on the part of the seeker.

the first chapter of Genesis we read, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him.

Christian Science acknowledges God as infinite Mind.
Christian Science is a religion of Love; and its purpose is to perpetuate the words and works of the master Metaphysician, Jesus the Christ.
The question propounded by a critic in a recent issue of your paper as to "who sins," is answered in the Scriptures.
The pantheistic teaching that all is God ostensibly means that God and the material universe are identical.
Healing in Christian Science means enlightenment,—ignorance removed through right knowledge.
Christian Science does not teach that Jesus was God, but that he was what he claimed himself to be, the "Son of God.
The term "Truth" evidently refers to the Principle of mental healing; and if we turn to the Bible and read the gospel records of the healing work accomplished by Christ Jesus,—the most successful practitioner of spiritual healing the world has ever known,—we shall find that he employed neither hypnotism nor autosuggestion in overcoming disease.

The
category of worthy subjects about which Paul enjoined the Christians of Philippi to think, namely, the things which "are true,…honest,…just,…pure,…lovely," he appears to have summarized in the final term "of good report.
Perhaps
no activity of the Christian Science church is more palpably rich in blessing for the world collectively and individually than are its testimony meetings.

It is now ten years since I first came to Christian Science for help.
The study of Christian Science has brought so many blessings into my home that I find difficulty in selecting those for which I am most grateful.
