In the past twenty-two years I have been the grateful recipient of many blessings resulting from the application of the truth as taught in Christian Science. I first heard of this religion through a friend, who told me of the wonderful healing of her neighbor. This healing made such an impression on my thought that when I was confronted by the verdict of physicians that I should be operated on for the removal of an inner abnormal growth (a small tumor), I decided to try Christian Science. I knew nothing whatever of the teaching of the "little book," "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, at this time, or that healing resulted from the truth stated therein; but when I asked a faithful practitioner for help, and in answer to the question, What is the healing power? was told that God is the only healer, I knew I would be healed. After the first treatment a great sense of peace and freedom was experienced, and in less than a week I was completely healed. Through the faithful study of Science and Health many problems have been solved in our home life, and physical ills overcome. I have been healed of rheumatism, a badly sprained foot, headache, colds, and other discordant conditions.

I am grateful for help received from the faithful workers in the field, and for the privilege of class instruction; also to be able to work for our Cause. I am indeed grateful to God for His loving care, and also to Mrs. Eddy, the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science.
