Branch churches and societies, and Christian Scientists...

Chronicle

Branch churches and societies, and Christian Scientists all over the world, acknowledge Mary Baker Eddy as the Discoverer and Founder of Christian Science. No one ever can or will take her place as the Leader of the movement. The Bible and her writings—the Manual of The Mother Church with its By-laws, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures," as well as her other works—will continue to lead on and instruct Christian Scientists. The only reliable literature on the subject is that which is authorized by The Christian Science Publishing Society in Boston, Massachusetts.

The phenomenal growth of the Cause of Christian Science during the last fifty years or more, the many churches and societies which have sprung up in this country and all over the world, the interest Christian Science arouses everywhere, as seen by the crowded attendance at lectures and at the services, prove substantially that the church, as an active body, did not stop progressing when Mrs. Eddy passed on, but is, without question, attracting ever more adherents to its teachings by its regenerative and healing works.
