It is with a heart full of gratitude that I give this testimony of what Christian Science has done for me. It was not until I had exhausted all material means of which I knew that I turned to Christian Science for help. I had suffered for years from rheumatism, pleurisy, indigestion, and headaches, until finally I was completely helpless, and able to sleep but little because of pain. I had several times been asked to try Christian Science. Finally, a dear friend brought me "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy. She also called a practitioner, and then quietly seated herself and read aloud to me from this book for half an hour. I fell asleep and slept for about three hours. On awaking I was able to arise with ease and walk, free from pain.

Thanks be to God for this wonderful truth, as revealed in Christian Science through the heavenly inspiration which came to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy. Also, I am grateful to the loving practitioners who have helped me along the way. I desire to imbibe more and more of the spirit of Christian Science while studying the letter, and to go forward lending a helping hand to others. In this way I am sharing in the great work which must go on until "the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord, as the waters cover the sea."
