It is a well-known fact that no body of people study the Bible more faithfully than do Christian Scientists. They are finding that, through the study of the Christian Science textbook, "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mary Baker Eddy, they are being enabled to understand the Bible as never before, and to find therein the way to Life. Christian Scientists are proving that Christian Science is leading them into a fuller knowledge of, and love for, Truth. As the Master has said, "By their fruits ye shall know them."

It is gratifying to note that an increasing number of preachers are recognizing the merits of Christian Science, and are fair enough to express their appreciation. One of the many may here be referred to. The Independent, published at Suffern, New York, recently reported an address by Doctor Farrar, entitled "Other Denominations—including Christian Science," which indicates this growing tendency. In his address Doctor Farrar made a plea for greater unity in the churches, and spoke favorably of Christian Science. The Independent quoted a portion of the reverend gentleman's remarks, as follows: "'If Christian Science has brought, as it is doing, the attention of the churches to what seems to be a great possibility, it has justified its existence, and is doing its part in the great general uplift of humanity.' He urged his hearers to refrain from criticizing other denominations. They may not be doing as you think, but yet they may be doing the Master's work in another way." Wrothy sentiments these, which deserve thoughtful consideration.
