I wish to express gratitude for a healing that took place in our family a few years ago. At that time many in the community seemed to have a very distressing skin disease that affected the whole body. Before we were aware, my wife, three children, and I were stricken. We applied our knowledge of the truth, but at first it seemed as if our efforts were mocking us. The harder we declared the truth, the more error seemed to resist. Finally, we asked occasional treatment from a Christian Science practitioner; and this gave us strength and faith. The trouble, however, refusing to yield, we decided to have continuous treatment until the condition was overcome. In due course, with the faithful, loving help of a practitioner, every vestige of the disease disappeared.

We are all very grateful for this particular healing. During the fourteen years that Christian Science has been in our home we have experienced many other blessings. Words fail adequately to express my gratitude to God and to our Leader, Mrs. Eddy, for this wonderful healing truth.
