Christian Science is the fulfillment of the promise of the coming of the Comforter. It is with deepest joy and ever increasing gratitude that I testify to the absolute, unfailing healing power of this revealed truth.

One day, while making a call, I was bitten by the pet dog of the family, the lower lip being torn open. It seemed wise, under the circumstances, to have the wound sewed up; and accordingly a surgeon was called to do this. Through the application of the truth of being and the realization of the "scientific statement of being," as given on page 468 of "Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures" by Mrs. Eddy, all sense of fear, pain, and bleeding was met and destroyed. The healing work went rapidly on; and in less than two weeks the wound was wholly healed.

The permanency and completeness of Christian Science healing have been proved in my experience, as over ten years ago I was healed of appendicitis through reading Science and Health. The superiority of spiritual power over material means has been proved over and over again in my practice during the past six years. Every day brings added proof of the unfailing healing power of Truth and Love. Fear, discouragement, unhappiness, disease, pain, have all given way before the glorious light and power of divine Mind, proving that to the waiting thought there are sure to come flood tides of courage, inspiration, joy, confidence, plenty, permanent happiness, health, and newness of right desire. This Christ-consciousness gives a glimpse of the freshness and indestructibility of man and his faculties, as a child of God.
